All Heidts components purchased through Proj-X will include a complete copy of the appropriate engineering report and a serialized ID tag. ( ID used for our records only)
  • This engineering report applies ONLY to the Heidts suspension itself (be it front or rear) and does not extend to installation or subsequent vehicle inspection.
  • Heidts IFS (Independent Front Suspension) kits may be ordered without brakes and retro-fitted with Australian production units
  • Heidts fabricated components are supplied without coatings - ready for installation!
  • Proj-X deals directly with Heidts (no middle-man) this means your order will be placed, filled and shipped all at Heidt’s plant in Wauconda, Illinois. USA

Similarly, if you’ve found a ’name brand’ aftermarket part and would like our pricing, please use our form page to supply the relevant specs, brand and part numbers. It also helps to include the online supplier/source name, too!

ORDERING/PAYMENT PROCESS

We’ll gladly work with you to generate a custom order that fits your needs. This may take a few conversations/emails to clarify the finer details and to double check specifics. To then commit to that order we ask for a 90% deposit (calculated from our estimated total in Ausdollars) with the balance due as soon as the goods arrive at our shop. ** This policy applies to all imported items regardless of shipping method.

As a basic guide the following time frames and guidelines apply for most shipments-

  • Most US company orders process within a week
  • Typically, US domestic freight takes 3-5 days east to west coast
  • US export processing ( in Long Beach) can take a week or two depending on  shipping demand
  • Sea freight usually takes six weeks from California to Brisbane
  • Australian port unloading, Australian Customs/AQIS release normally takes 1 week
  • Australian interstate freight varies and depends on shipment size and weight
  • International air freight is available, although costly. This method is normally not advisable for heavy items. (over 30kgs)
  • We’ll keep you informed whenever shipping/transit details become available and normally give you a week’s notice of expected arrival.
  • You will be invoiced the final balance as soon as the order arrives at Proj-X. Your goods will be released and/or forwarded as soon as this amount has been paid.
  • We prefer bank transfer, bank checks, cash payments and we now accept credit card/EFTPOS transactions.* Bank cheques must clear before goods are released (sorry, we no longer accept personal cheques)
